2010 China-Japan Broadband Wireless Access Technology Forum was held on February 2nd in Beijing. AWF(Apt Wireless Forum) was held From March 29th to 31th in Shinagawa, Japan. These were good opportunities of introducing XGP to the world. Here is a question for us. What is the most important factor to those entities providing broadband service? Is it high communication speed? Or is it accessibility during high speed movement? As a matter of fact, both are key functions.
Meanwhile, a word called SON (Self-Organizing Network) attracts attention recently, and it is adopted in by 3.9G system. SON is a kind of solution automating complicated adjustment and setting as to reduce OPEX in the construction of the communications infrastructure. In fact, owing to the design of AAS, XGP has realized many of functions that SON is planning to offer. Thus design work for cell station becomes unnecessary, and the role of SON will become the important point in the introduction of the system in future as well.
