WILLCOM Inc. and Asia Wireless Communication Co.,Ltd.（Headquarter in Bangkok, President is Mr. Adhiruth Thothaveesansuk ; here in after as AWC） reached agreement to jointly study the feasibility to introduce XGP in Thailand.

WILLCOM’s plan to is set up wireless broadband system based on 2.5GHz frequency in Japan  approved.

WILLCOM announced the official name of its XGP service network, which is to be commercialized in 2009, as WILLCOM CORE.
