	The emergence of a new wireless communication technology is long awaited by the entire world. The technology that can realize the transmission and reception of large-capacity files such as animation, and cover a widely versatile range of services, is expected to change our life style and give us a purely comfortable communication experience anywhere and anytime. Although, to practically apply that technology, it is essential that a carrier can build the new system with reasonable investment so that more users can enjoy the new life style at affordable cost. The XGP is designed and developed to realize big-capacity wireless communication at low cost.

	It is a technology for the next generation.

	XGP is one of the most superior BWA technologies in the world. In substitution for conventional fixed circuit (DSL, Optical Fiber), it provides wireless broadband access to the world. The Next-Generation keeps high mobility performance, which enables its application in data communication with not only a notebook PC or a PDA, but also mobile handsets. That is why the technology has started to attract attention as a next generation large-capacity mobile telephone technology. In XGP system, micro cells are adopted in urban area where traffic is heavy, and macro cells are adopted in rural area where a wide coverage is required. By adjusting the output power of base stations, simple design that enables correspondence to both areas is easily accomplished. XGP society welcomes new telecom era by providing high velocity communication of over 43Mbps* at both uploading and downloading. * This is based on the highest downloading velocity measured in 20MHz bandwidth. Wider bandwidth could result in even higher speed.

	Our aim of communication technology for next generation is approaching.

In Japan, Wireless City Planning Inc. has obtained 2.5GHz radio frequency in hope to commercialize XGP in 2012.

The time when the entire world will adopt a wireless large-capacity telecom method at low cost is coming now. We believe the technology to be adopted will be this XGP.
