The 35th General Meeting in Tokyo
The 35th General Meeting of XGP Forum was held on November 22, 2018 at Tokai University Club in Tokyo, Japan. 63 delegates from MIC, ARIB, MFA and signatory member companies attended the meeting.

2. Resolution to be approved prior to the Meeting
Item 1: Election of Chairperson, Vice-Chairpersons and others
According to the Chapter 6 of the Agreement of XGP Forum, Chairperson and Vice-Chairpersons of XGP Forum shall be elected in every two years, and this General Meeting is just the year for election. The 51st Steering Committee held on October 31, 2018 has approved that current Chairperson Mr. Yoichi Maeda, current Vice- Chairperson Mr. Fusaki Matsui, current Vice-Chairperson Mr. Osamu Kamimura, current Senior Executive Advisor Mr. Masayoshi Wakao and current Executive Technical Advisor Mr. Yoshioki Chika, would remain at their posts.
3. Welcome Address by Chairperson
Mr. Yoichi Maeda, Chairperson of XGP Forum, warmly welcomed all the attendees from Japan, Korea, UK and Italy.

Item 4: The report of Activities and the Statement of Accounts in FY 2017
Secretary General introduced general activities and then each chairperson of BWG, TWG, AdHoc22 and PWG presented activity reports held in fiscal year of 2017 respectively. Secretary General also introduced the Statement of Accounts in FY 2017. All of them got approved.
Item 5: The proposal of Activities and the Budget in FY 2018
Secretary General introduced general activity plans and each chairperson of BWG, TWG, PWG Chairperson introduced activity plans to be carried on in fiscal year of 2018 respectively. Secretary General also introduced the Budget in FY 2018. All of them got approved.
5. Special Presentation
Mr. Yasuo Tawara, Director-General of the Radio Department, Telecommunications Bureau of MIC gave a keynote speech; Mr. Jose Enrique Serrano Comes from DEKRA Certification Japan K.K. gave a speech named “MulteFire for 1.9 GHz” on behalf of Multe Fire Alliance; Mr. Naotaka Sato from Sony Corporation gave a speech named “Spectrum sharing in US "3.5 GHz Citizens Broadband Radio Services (CBRS)"”; Mr. Noriaki Hibi from Baicells Technologies introduced “Private LTE solutions of Baicells”; Mr. Yoshioki Chika, PWG Chairperson of XGP Forum addressed a presentation with the title “Why Shared/unlicensed Spectrum?Toward 5G era ”.
