The 39th General Meeting in Tokyo, Japan

The 39th General Meeting of XGP Forum was held on November 29, 2022 at ARIB(Online meeting in parallel) in Tokyo, Japan. 32 delegates from TTC, ARIB and signatory member companies attended the meeting.

1. Opening address

Mr. Yoshiya Iribe, Secretary General of XGP Forum announced the opening of the Genenral Meeting and introduced the outline and Agenda.

2. Resolution to be Approved Prior to the Meeting

Item 1: Election of Chairperson, Vice-Chairpersons and others

According to the Chapter 6 of the Agreement of XGP Forum, Chairperson and Vice-Chairpersons of XGP Forum shall be elected in every two years, and this General Meeting is just the year for election. The 55th Steering Committee meeting held on October 27, 2022 has approved the current Chairperson Dr. Hideyuki Iwata, the current Vice-Chairperson Mr. Shunsuke Kodama, the other current Vice-Chairperson Mr. Osamu Kamimura, the current Senior Executive Advisor Mr. Masayoshi Wakao and the current Executive Technical Advisor Mr. Yoshioki Chika would serve consecutive terms.

3. Welcome Address by Chairperson Dr. Hideyuki Iwata

Dr. Iwata, Chairperson of XGP Forum, warmly welcomed all the attendees with a letter which was read by Secretary General.

4. Resolutions to be Approved

Item 2: The Memo of the previous General Meeting

The minute of 38th General Meeting was introduced by secretarial office and got approved.

Item 4: Activity Reports and Financial Report in FY 2021

Secretary General introduced general activities and then each chairperson of BWG, TWG, AdHoc22 and PWG presented activity reports held in fiscal year of 2021 respectively. Secretary General also introduced financial report in FY 2021. All of them got approved.

Item 5: Activity Plans and the Budget in FY 2022

Secretary General introduced general activity plan and then each chairperson of BWG, TWG, AdHoc22 and PWG introduced activity plans to be carried on in fiscal year of 2022 respectively. Secretary General also introduced the Budget in FY 2022. All of them got approved.
