XGP Forum joined "5G-Oriented LTE Network Innovation Seminar 2017" in Beijing
On August 17 "5G-Oriented LTE Network Innovation Seminar 2017"was held in Beijing, which was hosted by TDIA (Telecommunication Development Industry Alliance) and "Mobile Communication" Magazine. Yang Hua, Secretary General of TDIA, addressed opening speech. Chen Jiachun, Deputy Director of Communication Development Division of MIIT addressed opening speech. 18 keynote speeches were issued and more than 300 people from the Department of Science & Technology and Electronics, design institute, LTE vendors and universities attended the seminar.
This meeting was the eighth LTE Innovation Seminar. 3 major operators, China Tower, CAICT (China Academy of Telecommunication Research, MIIT), XGP Forum attended the seminar and addressed keynote speeches. Mr. Yoshiya Iribe, Secretary General of XGP Forum introduced update on 4G LTE evolution and 5G development. The seminar covered development and enforcement strategy on 5G-Oriented LTE Network Innovation, advantage and challenges that 5G Innovation technologies brought to network construction, and forecasted development direction and opportunities of NB-IoT and eMTC with 5G technologies.
In the exhibition area, vendors showed the latest equipment and network solutions, attracting many participants to visit and communicate. The conference also released the "5G LTE Network Innovation Seminar (2017)" and the Proceedings.
This seminar had announced “5G LTE Network Innovation Seminar (2017) Essay Contest” in April and received more than 300 essays 5G technology innovation, 5G-oriented network, mobile IoT, smart application-oriented development. Expert committee carefully studied and selected 80 papers for "2017 LTE Network Innovation Seminar Essays". 10 were honored as "Outstanding Essay" and conferred awards.
