Result of Connection Test between IP-PBX/Business phones and sXGP terminals in FY 2021
XGP Forum (office located in Tokyo, Japan. Chairperson: Hideyuki Iwata) has revised "Guideline for Connection Test of sXGP System" and conducted the sharing test of sXGP System and PHS System in expanded 5MHz frequency band and the connection test with a combination of the sXGP method equipment of the multi-vendors. The connection test met with a good result.
XGP Forum has been standardizing a new TD-LTE-based wireless technology, license-free ”sXGP system”, as a radio station which uses 1.9GHz band and vigorously participating in the review meeting of technical requirements set up by Information and Communications Council(“ICC”) under MIC.

Then, in order to promote the deployment of this method, we informed of the following initiatives.

In response to ICC’s preliminary answer on March 31, 2017 and amendment enforcement of ministerial order for sXGP systems on October 1, as well as the issuance of standard specification by ARIB, XGP Forum issued test guidelines. Based on the guideline, we have conducted tests continuously with participating companies in this Forum since FY 2018 and have achieved good results.

This time, we have revised the guidelines by adding sharing test item of sXGP system with other wireless system (PHS system) in expanded 5MHz frequency band.
Based on the revised test guideline, the test was co-hosted by HATS Forum (Secretariat: Communications and Information Network Association of Japan (CIAJ), Chairman: Tadao SAITO, Professor Emeritus of the University of Tokyo) and met with a good result.

XGP Forum(TWG-AdHoc 22 SWG for sXGP-AdHoc TG for interconnectivity) recruited participating companies and implemented the test.
5. Test Method
「IP-PBX - Connection tests of all PBXes and sXGP method system were conducted in accordance with "IP-PBX - sXGP Inter-terminal Connection Test Guideline (Version 4)" and "PBX Telecom Server Inter Connection Test Guideline for sXGP Protocol Specification Terminal Connection (HATS-P-104-V4.0)" which is based on the former.

6. Test Result
(1)Result of connect test with multi-vendors` sXGP compliance equipment
As described below, 10 items (including some option items) were tested with a combination of two models of IP-PBXes from 2 vendors and 1 newly added sXGP equipment (EPC, AP) from 1 vendor. Besides, 2 items of sharing test of sXGP System and PHS System in the expanded 5MHz frequency band were tested. All of them passed the test.

(2)Sharing test of sXGP System and PHS System in expanded 5MHz frequency band
As described below, 2 items of sharing test of sXGP System and PHS System in expanded 5MHz frequency band with a combination of 6 kind of IP-PBX/business phones from 6 vendors and sXGP compliance equipment were conducted. All of them passed the test.
The HATS Forum will issue a "Certificate of Acceptance" to those companies that have passed the test and are also participating in the HATS Forum.

7. Future Plan
The Access Test is going to be implemented continuously next year as well. We aim to supply products with high convenience for users.
